Spring has brought a whirlwind of practices and games! Ethan is playing baseball and Camden and Rylan are playing soccer. Clint is the assistant coach for the soccer teams. Yesterday was picture day for soccer too, so we were busy with games and pictures from 9:30-5:00 with the exception of about an hour around lunch. Not all weeks are quite that crazy, but we will definitely be busy for the next couple of months. This is the first time we have done sports that were during the school year. It's much busier, but so much cooler weather. It will also be nice in the summer to be free to plan camping trips and other fun stuff on Saturdays. I don't have pictures ready to post, but they will be coming soon.
We have also been working ever since we moved to this house on getting the back yard done. There will always be projects on the list, but for the most part we are done! We are excited to get our garden in. We just planted two apple trees. We have grapes, raspberries and blackberries we planted last year and we built garden boxes surrounded by rock so we hopefully will be able to grow more than weeds this year. We even bought good soil and compost so our poor little plants don't have to grow in clay. I'll get some before and after pictures post of that too. But first I better see to my bedtime duties.
